On 1 November, the 11th General Controller Competition of National Petrochemical Industry was concluded in Shanghai. The three participating teams of China BlueChemical Limited (hereinafter referred to as “China BlueChemical”) won 2 group first prizes (CNOOC Fudao) and 1 group second prize (CNOOC Huahe). Zhong Guoqiang, a contestant of CNOOC Kingboard, won the individual gold medal, and four contestants of CNOOC Fudao won the individual silver medal.

    General Controller Competition of National Petrochemical Industry is organized by, among others, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, with the aim of selecting chemical general control workers who have good professional ethics, passion on their jobs and carefully study different techniques. The competition was attended by scientific research institutes, large enterprise groups, universities and colleges from the petroleum and chemical industry nationwide. In this year, 42 teams and 126 contestants entered the finals.
