Both Fudao Phase II urea plant and Hainan Phase I methanol plant of CNOOC Fudao Limited (hereafter referred to as CNOOC Fudao) have kept long-term stable running for over 400 days, the first ever since their operation.

While focusing on strict prevention and control of the epidemic, CNOOC Fudao also strengthened its management and control to secure production and operation by enhancing the safety management of process equipment, consolidating experience to improve employees’ skills and managing the product inventory timely. In order to pinpoint the risks to plant operation, CNOOC Fudao mobilised all staff to conduct in-depth exploration in terms of plant safety, environmental protection, process equipment management, etc., and proposed several management and control measures to effectively ensure the long-term operation of the plants.
