Recently, the State Intellectual Property Office informed us that “a cultivation method of simplified banana fertilization” as developed by CNOOC Fudao under China BlueChemical Ltd. was granted the national invention patent.
Such invention simplifies the traditional fertilization method for banana plantation, which reduces the number of fertilization sessions from between 15 and 20 times to 5 times and thus saves costs by over RMB300 per mu. At the same time, the invention also boosts banana production volume, representing a new banana cultivation mode with enhanced production volume and efficiency as well as higher practical value.
The achievement of receiving such patent provides a strong technological support to the Company on market expansion and product competitiveness enhancement.
