(Hong Kong, 5 March 2008) China BlueChemical Ltd. (“China BlueChem”; stock code: 3983), the leading chemical fertilizer producer in China, announced that its subsidiary CNOOC Kingboard Chemical Limited (“CNOOC Jiantao”) has received the AAA rating in creditability and AAAA rating in products quality from the China Product Quality Association.
According to the 《Comments on the establishment of credibility system by the General Office of the State Council (國務院辦公廳關於信用體系建設的若干意見)》issued by the State Council’s General Office on 23 March 2007, the comprehensive rating system assessing enterprises on product quality, quality assurance capability, production integrity, corporate creditability, ability to execute contracts and achieving customer satisfaction etc., high standard in all of those aspects will help promoting corporations’ social creditability and accelerating the evolution of new economic era in China. The “AAA” and “AAAA” ratings awarded to CNOOC Jiantao are the highest in the respective category.
