On 25 September 2010, the DYK Chemical Phosphate Fertilizer Expansion and Modification Project of China BlueChemical Ltd. (China BlueChem) has formally started. The construction of the Project will further facilitate the realization of China BlueChem’s development objective of becoming the leading enterprise in the chemical fertilizer sector in China. The purpose of the project is to construct a new set of production plants for phosphate fertilizers and ancillary utilities in addition to the existing production facilities, and to carry out technical upgrades to the existing mining and processing plants. Upon completion of the project, the Company will rank among the top of major domestic enterprises in the phosphate fertilizers sector. Mr. Yang Yexin, CEO and President of China BlueChem, said in his speech, “Hubei Base is one of China BlueChem’s major chemical fertilizer production bases, which plays a pivotal role in the production of phosphate fertilizers.
