China BlueChemical Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China BlueChem” or the “Company”) recently celebrated its tenth anniversary of establishment at its Hainan base. Mr. WEI Liucheng, Secretary of Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Standing Committee of National People’s Congress attended the celebration ceremony.

For ten years since its establishment, adhering to its growth strategy through organic growth and acquisition expansion, the Company has established three production bases with another three under preparation nationwide, which are situated at Hainan, Inner Mongolia, Hubei, Shanxi, Guizhou and Heilongjiang. The total designed annual production capacity of the Company has reached 1,840,000 tonnes of urea, 500,000 tonnes of phosphate fertilisers and 1,600,000 tonnes of methanol, and has realized the shift from relying solely on natural gas as its raw material to the integrated application of various resources such as natural gas, raw coal, phosphate ore, completed preliminary its domestic layout in terms of the industry and the market.

Since the listing of the Company on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in September 2006, the Company has been highly recognised within the capital market regarding its profitability, development strategy and corporate governance.

In respect of its development targets and development strategies, China BlueChem mainly focuses on the production and trading of fertilisers, while at the same time engaging in the business of related chemical products. The Company pursues a national strategy and is committed to developing in a highly efficient way that involves low carbon emission.
